The Louisiana House of Representatives has passed a bill, The Ka’Mauri Harrison Act, which would require school districts to update their policies for online learning. You may remember 4th grader Ka’Mauri Harrison who was wrongfully suspended for having a BB Gun in his room during an online class. Ka’Mauri and his father Nyron came to the Legislature to see the bill pass. I was glad to see them and to stand by them in this fight. Now the bill goes to the Senate and hopefully will
become law.

I ran to serve the people of Acadiana and protect, preserve, and promote Louisiana values for the next generation. Thank you for putting your trust in me and know that I will never stop fighting for the values and people that make our state great!
